If you want to make your own way the cheapest and most direct alternative is probably by bus. Go to Heathrow central bus station (follow the signs) and pick up a 111, 285 or 726 to Cromwell Road, Kingston. On arrival, walk back in the direction of Kingston Station (which you will just have passed) turn first left into Clarence Street then first right into Eden Street. Walk down Eden Street until you come to the bus stop for the Claygate service which is K3. This is around an 8 minute walk. Take the K3 to Telephone Exchange, Hare Lane, Claygate ( first stop after passing under Railway Bridge at Claygate) and continue walking down Hare Lane for a another 100 yards until you come to Rosemead on the left.
